Bobby Roode wins his 2nd tna whc

Post by isrs4life » Fri Oct 31, 2014 4:00 pm

If anyone cares Bobby Roode defeated Lashley to become a 2nd time
tna whc and hes a face now and got a pretty cool entrance music i could
see myself watching Impact for roode and maybe he could out do his old
Legthly title run.

He just reminds me of Triple H but he sure is the "It Factor"

And I read impact results of the past 3 or 4 months and back in the know.

TNA would need to run shows in order for him to out-do his first title reign.

Aye, the whole lack of TV thing really puts a damper on that wish of Isrs'.

You know, if I still had the tab open, I'd be able to verify that. But now that I closed it, it's really hard for me to care enough to reopen the link I posted in this thread to read again.

Maybe it's a low since they've started doing primetime slots, they surely were not doing that on their early days at midnight on Fox Sports.

I did mean a record low since their time on Spike. The Fox Sports numbers were far lower.

So how long was the delay between the title win and when it actually aired?

Isrs wrote this on the 16th:
isrs4life wrote:Yeah and bobby roode is about to win the tna world championship on next weeks
impact episode its already on the history of the belt if you look on Wikipedia
now Bobby Roode is a nice champ type guy because he is the "it factor"

Which didn't happen for R-truth and his imaginary friend.
So it's been in the can so to speak for at least half a month. Although why I'm doing this I still don't know as I believe you still have me blocked.

Much longer than that. Bobby Roode won the title at the September 17 taping, with a whopping 200 in attendance.

Also, Impact's worst rating came in April 2010, during their Monday night foray. Running head-to-head with the first two hours of a 3-hour Raw (draft episode), Impact drew a 0.5 rating. Any lower than that, and it would be statistically unmeasurable by Nielson's system.

Yeesh on both accounts. That's a long time for a title change taping to remain in the can and that's an abysmal rating.

That's just ridiculous. I'm all for the advanced taping if it saves them money, but that is just way too long.

And that was the second of four taping days. They filmed TV in mid-September to last them through the year.

Pretty sure that happened in Bethlehem, PA at the Sands.

You'd think TNA management would learn. That was a poor practice for WCW in the early 90's and that was back when dirtsheets were still a thing.

With 200 in attendance they'd probably make more money doing empty arena shows. At least the spoilers wouldn't get posted.

Like the AWA in their last days and that horrendous pink studio:

Probably the empty arena shows is a pretty bad idea. Surely something could be done, though. Something as significant as a world title change should not be taped a month in advance.

It'll all be a moot point soon enough.
