The actual closing of TNA's doors won't be immediate. They'll hang on through Lockdown, by any means necessary, in the hopes of finding a new TV home. I'd look for the plug to be pulled in late spring, if they're still homeless.

I see them flopping about like a flounder on the deck of a boat for a short time after the deal ends, struggling vainly for air(time) on any network big enough for their needs before actually shutting their doors. I don't think the axe will come down from Panda as soon as the Spike deal ends, as unlike Bischoff and Time Warner thirteen years ago, Dixie actually has leverage within Panda.

It won't be long, though. They have Momma Carter overseeing their finances, do they not?

Well that depends on a few things. I don't know how'd they'd try to promote a PPV without a TV show. I would say that Panda Energy might pull the plug, even if Dixie wants to continue just because there's nothing left. A national company without TV is dead.

Travel costs for the North American based portion of the roster alone would prohibit that from being a profitable venture.

Erm, no, that's just a TV deal in South Africa. As long as TNA is in business, they'll supply footage for the South African sports channel, but, if they have no profitable deal in North America going for them, those deals outside of that won't mean shit.

They have a TV deal in the UK. That's not new money to replace Spike, and that's what they need.

TNA going to ABC is just as reasonable as their joining any number of other networks, so why not?

Because ABC has never once aired a wrestling show. Not even during boom periods.

Right. There's zero chance that TNA would go there, which is why...
