Bully Ray wins back the TNA Championship for the 2nd time

Post by isrs4life » Fri Aug 16, 2013 3:01 pm

I liked when Chris Sabin was the TNA World Champion but I guess it would
be just transitional until Bully Ray would regain it and he did. This sorta
reminds me of Triple Hs days from when he would win the title back
the next night maybe has Bubba Ray Dudley finally figured out away
to almost be like Triple H but in TNA?

and Bully Ray had some one on his back which was none other then
Tito Ortiz wow he out smarted all of us hes become a great character now
I shouldnt say hes like Triple H but just the style of the way he talks is
like when Triple H use to be The Game.

Still you talk about marrying the bosses daughter and not continuing after
being heel then theres brooke whos the brooke tune in on impact next week
to find out

Well, at least they're back on track for the BFG to spawn a dragonslayer.

I see what TNA tried to do - giving you an unexpected occurrence to take for a short ride. But (as usual) they executed it in a way that was uninteresting and kinda sloppy.

Using Chris Sabin's story for the Destination title shot was kinda dumb since people get injured all the time. And at the time he was injured, Sabin was nowhere near their World title. So there was no real emotional connection there.

The guy I would've used in that position: either Aries or Samoa Joe. They'e both connected to the title, and people have that fresh in their minds. Either one of them could've made for a better "swerve" storyline than Chris Sabin. But hey, it's TNA. Go figure.

They put weight limits on the division, I believe, so Samoa Joe isn't welcome.

Well, yeah. I don't know. Sabin works as well as anyone. They kept it as a sideshow, while the MEM/A&8 drama stayed in the forefront, and now they've turned a generic flippy dude into someone they can inject into things like the BFG, for the rest of his career. There's value in being able to bill someone as a former-World Champion. The WWE did that with Kane for 12 years, on the back of a 4-hour title reign.

In this case, it was probably best to have someone unseat Bully Ray, that is completely under the radar. It's just a little blemish on Ray's record (especially since the original title win was so dirty), and he can stay on track to Bound For Glory, where the real shit should go down.

Ugh... It's so gross to say almost positive things about TNA....

I follow TNA through Josh Boutwell. His recaps are magnificent.

Yeah, reading results are fun...

I didnt watch WWE for like 4 or 5 months last year for the first time
but I read the results
and still didnt feel like I missed a thing when I felt like I was up to
date now thats being a smart fan.

Reading something can be great at times if you remember what its about
then when you see it on tv you almost feel like you know whats going
on with the current program.

except for the announcers at the time thow.
