It would be nice to see a new midcard title in TNA
if they could make it happen and try to make a first
good champion of it.

X-division title was the other belt most of the times
but they put weight limits on it.

Not sure if a month before Bound for glory is right about
this but when they made the womens championship
before bfg 2007 it worked well.

Its a new time in TNA and it be nice to have a recongnizable
mid card champion and hope the name of the belt will be
awesome I know they had the tv title once named the global
belt but that was for a wrestler who wasnt amarican.

Hard to say if they could repackage the tv title and take
it off Abyss and give it to someone new.

All thow the history is there with that belt if you look on wiki
I seen and its not all that bad there wasnt many champions
in 2011&2012 and Devon held it pretty good there.

Abyss needs to show up sometime.

First, TNA would need to have an actual midcard. THEN, they could support a midcard title.

Is this the most moronic thing you've ever read?
The following are highlights from TNA Impact Wrestling president Dixie Carter's recent interview with The Ministry Of Slam:

On criticism over signing too many MMA fighters to TNA deals: "I’ve gotten criticism for bringing these guys in but when you’re looking for talent and there’s only two teams, where do you go to get your star players from? You’re going to mostly look to each other and then every once in a while, you’ve got to build your own talent which takes a lot of time.

So here are two guys that are major superstars. Both come from wrestling backgrounds, and both are training their butts off right now to be in the ring. I think it’s a great way of trying to find some superstar talent and not having to take so many years to try to grow somebody’s stardom. Both of these guys are so well-known and they love professional wrestling. They're committed and they're training, and I’m excited for people to see their potential. I think it’s a great way of looking for new talent, and talent that have never been seen before in our world."

On recent TNA talent releases: "Well, I think the fact that you let talent go is not any indication whatsoever of any problems. I think part of our problem is that we didn’t turn the roster often enough. We only have one show so if we don’t have people on the show all the time. we are not in the position to have them sitting at home and being paid and not working. I think we have to get some more programming.

We have to be able to do that to where we can shift and make talent appear fresh, but going to another show versus sitting people at home. I think it’s been a long time coming. I know that our competitor lets people go constantly. We had not done it in a long time, and I think because we had not done it in a long time, that it raised some eyebrows.

It’s time for us to bring in some new faces, and we've got some exciting faces that will be appearing in the next several months. It’ll freshen things up somewhat. It’ll freshen up the people who are still on the roster and it’ll give the fans new and unique matches that they’ve never seen before. Like always, I’m sure some of the people that are no longer with us will return at some point – I’m hopeful for that. I think it’s a good healthy state of where we’re going and how we need to grow."

On Bully Ray and the Aces & 8's: "Bully Ray in my opinion has really stepped up and become a formidable singles champion. He’s done outstanding work. A lot of the young guys have come along under the Aces & Eights banner very quickly. I love the reformation of the Main Event Mafia; I love the younger members in there stepping up to represent our company. I think there’s going to be some interesting TV in the coming weeks."

The first part where she basically says she uses the MMA guys pretty much because it's easier than building their own stars is just ridiculous. That's got to be the worst mindset ever.

... because the WWE makes a habit of hiring former-TNA talent?

[sarcasm]Yeah...Like Frankie Kazarian, Gail Kim (WWE's first, but TNA is where she shone when they were actually decent) BRADEN FUCKING WALKER, (the biggest star this side of Hulk Hogan) and Awesome Kong. They love the TNA talent....[/sarcasm]

The key phrase Greg used there was makes a habit of. WWE doesn't make a habit of picking up TNA guys and gals, that doesn't mean they've never done it before. The list of former WWE performers that TNA has picked up would lap the WWE's list of TNA pickups 10 times over, probably

WWE seems to have more success with ROH guys. Bryan, Punk, Cesaro, Rollins. That's like four guys, two former champions, one of them in the main event, and two other guys who get regular TV time.

I can't really think of anyone from TNA.

Christian and Rtruth are the most succesful WWE acquisitions from TNA and both started in WWE first...

Road dogg, Billy Gunn and RVD couldnt WAIT to leave TNA

And even Tazz begged for his job back last month

So most of the guys who leave WWE and go to TNA usually want their jobs back. Even Matt Morgan, I think...And didn't he have a "stuttering" gimmick, in WWE?

Kurt Angle I guess is the big exception, he's just too banged up and messed up personally to be able to handle WWE anymore. Plus compared to those other guys, Kurt probably makes a decent enough paycheck to stick around, working the light schedule that he does.

Jeff Hardy, too. But you never know with him, he's probably earning good money in TNA as well.

Oh, and Mr. Anderson. I'm sure he'd go back in a heartbeat though, just too bad they fired him.

Kennedy has heat with the 'E. He won't be back anytime soon, that and he's not a very solid worker.

My sarcasm was intended for how WWE likes to USE TNA talent. In that they don't. Unless they were with WWE first.

In my strange theory, TNA's boasting of having Angle, Hardy etc is like an actor auditioning for a role but being the only one there and gets the part by default and being smug about it, TNA purchased Angle when he was too banged up to be in WWE's schedule, Booker T when he was pissed off with WWE, Jeff when he was drugged up, Flair when he had already retired and everyone in between when they were released for not being good enough or violated drugs etc.

I would like to see TNA actually boast when someone voluntarily quits wwe on good terms BECAUSE TNA had called them or they wanted TNA, someone like Taker, or Mysterio or Big Show etc.

The only exception is Christian and he was their best asset but he couldn't WAIT to sneak back into wwe!

That isn't going to happen, certainly not with someone like Taker or Big Show anyway.

Nobody on top of WWE is going to quit to go to TNA.
