Nick Hogan accident, Hulk Hogan's sex tape. Her ex-wife riding young studs like they were Disneyland rides. The guy has gossip tatooed on his ass, done by the same guy that did it to Kim Kardashian.

There's even video of him taking a big steamy hospital shit when he was still heavily medicated after surgery.

Some of the roster is just poor though, Rob Terry, Robbie E, Brisco & Bischoff wouldn't be missed & could be replaced with the likes of Petey Williams, Low-Ki, couple tag-teams & Ted Dibiase Jr.

Problem with you statement is, the fans won't like the X division used as jobber fodder AND the X guys are in a stupid "hit their ceiling" division all by themselves, its why you never see a random Kenny King vs Angle match or anything because the X division is separate. Robbie E is actually one of their best sellers and jobbers.

That's a problem of the booking team.

The X Division & Tag-Team's have been neglected for some time now by TNA.

Its not neglect its the roster, I mean, wwe may not really have a structured midcard but at least they have variety, TNA just gets stale and stale with their match ups.

That they actually keep things in "divisions" being the primary reason. Unless you're going to carry a roster of 50-60 dudes (like the WWE has since the Invasion), you can't segregate your roster, and still have it function.

It's amazing that they come up with a very interesting concept: The X-Division champion having the right to relinquish his belt for a shot at the TNA Heavyweight title, but they only added that stipulation AFTER they made the decision to separate the X-Division from the rest of the roster with the weight limit.

Imagine if Joe had held the X-Division title through his monster run and then had to decide whether to hand in his record title reign or take his shot at the big boys.

Now you can't create a build like that at all because you'd be using it on Chris Sabin. Just shoot yourself TNA, or turn Jeff Hardy back out so he loses weight and goes under the Cruiserweight weight limit. Either/or

I don't get the point of a huge roster if you only get 2 hours a week? Hell, the WWE roster should be cut too the way they their roster.

I was looking on impact wrestling website and I counted 39 guys who
are currently on the roster with out counting hulk hogan and other commentators
and announcers on the program.

Zema Ion who hasnt been active for a while hasnt
been around so its more like 38 and Kenny King hasnt
been around either so that goes down to 37 wrestlers
on the roster at the moment.

And that's a lot more guys than they can get on TV every week. If they had 15 singles matches on every show, one tag team match and a triple threat, all of those guys would get TV time.

Look at the roster again guys,

Most are in OVW, stuck in a limited division or are part time/on screen personalities.

The roster has NO depth.

I know the IWC wets their pants watching AJ/Angle or Angle/Joe or Daniels/AJ over and over and over and over and over and over again, but there still needs to be depth!

Yeah, I get your point de sometimes I would like to see
a mid card on the show and maybe 2 or 3 new guys in
the main event that can go and feel different then bully
ray or Jeff Hardy!

How is Austin Aries and Bobby Roode different from each other?

God Roode could be easley used in the main event other
then Sting at times he could go on about being the longest
reigning TNA World champ in the companys history and
continue being roode but he will still loose.

This should never, ever, ever, ever, EVER be used as a criticism of a roster. They SHOULD have more guys than they can put on TV every week, so that they can have a rotation of jobbers, as well as having the space to give people time off for kayfabe reasons, injuries, or personal issues. If everyone's on TV every week, then everyone's important, and if everyone's important, then nobody's really important. A functional undercard requires a few midcard pieces that get used every week, and a rotation of people for them to work off, while the other undercard guys are hidden away from view, so that they don't get overexposed. That way, the people that are on TV every week automatically grab the spotlight, so you can focus the audiences attention, and actually *gasp* get people over.

The number of people TNA has on the roster is good, for running a weekly 2-hour program. The issue is that they are segregated into divisions, rather than just being "TNA Wrestlers". That takes their 30-something guys, and turns it into about 20, from which they need to carve out two or three major storylines, and a tag team scene, for 116 hours of TV, per year. That's insanity.

If TNA is going to have an X-Division, rather than just using it as a regular midcard title, then they need about a dozen more non-X-Division guys, and people that can actually work on TV, not just OVW kids. Since they can't afford to do that, the segregation of the X-Division from the rest of the roster is — wait for it — the dumbest of all the dumb things that TNA does.

not to mention that with only 4 PPV's a year, that is a hell of a lot of weekly shows in between without any storyline breaks or refreshing start up points/PPV aftermath's - in wwe, it may feel like its having too many PPV sometimes, but after a PPV, they may throw in a new storyline, push someone in or bring up a new guy.

Also, how on Earth have they abused a midcard title so much like they have with the TV title, Rob Terry? Robbie E? D-von twice? They scrapped the weekly title defence because of lack of interest/roster variety and while I may not be the biggest Samoa Joe fan, EVERYONE and their grandma were raving about how he could be a kick ass title defender each week and what do they do? They have him lose it not even a month later BACK to Devon. And they have retired that title like 3 times.

Man I actually am interested in this thread a lot more, it's could relief to release haha

Yeah, DE I was going to mention that about that earlier
but you said the right things about it the title is currently
being held by Abyss and fuck he could show up when he
wants to and that is barely and he is currently playing
Joseph Park and they are trying to bring him out like Abyss
in his matches.

TV title use to be the legends belt I at times think they
should make a whole new mid card title all together with
a meaning to it now that is such a waste ful belt I find
with the legends title lineage doesnt make it that great
and could be changed.

and TNA has had 5 ppvs not 4 because Genesis counts
as one two and that was in January.

If they dont have Genesis next year it defiinently be 4.

All thow the tv like ppvs destination x, hardcore justice
2 pack and No Surrender was and will be awesome.

I like the free ppv on tv idea it really makes them look good.

and

Greg I like the discussion thats been goin on in this thread
and its very close enough of a tna discussion.

The X Division Cup or whatever it was called, that would be a good 'one night' PPV to bring back if TNA ever got their act together.

Time for TNA to put greater emphasis on the wrestling instead of the usual MEM, A&8's, Hogan drawn out talking crap.

Yeah it was 5 ppv's but they decided to drop all the PPV's after Genesis happened.

The TV title has been quietly discontinued

And for the love of God, end Aces and Eights, no one is becoming a star out of it and before you say Bully, the dude was over as a heel BEFORE it anyway. Bischoff and Brisco are atrocious and Knuz is good but he isn't a top star. Anderson is always a great presence but is either injury prone or has been toyed around with as a heel and face too long
