The hype is real with this one. I am speeding through this episode of Impact to get to this Hardy stuff.

The most of the bits I'm seeing don't make me want to tune in again. When did Marie and he husband arrive, who is Marti Belle and why haven't I seen her before, what is that dude from the Smashing Pumpkins doing in TNA?

The fuck did I just watch? I mean, on some level I was entertained because the "acting" of the Hardys, especially Matt, was so bad that it was hard to turn away from. The match itself was what you could expect from a Hardy v Hardy match, and the budget definitely made the backyard feel...something. Senor Benjamin was the real MVP of that whole thing though and holy boobs and butt on Matt's wife!!

I skimmed through the video real quick because I haven't had time to sit still for 17 minutes. I'm stealing a comment from the internet but I find it appropriate. It's like a high quality porno that doesn't have any sex.

At the very least, people are talking about TNA and know that it's still a thing, so I count that as a win for them. $5 says this isn't the last time the Hardys go at it in TNA.

I think it's a case study in the notion of there being a such thing as bad publicity. It's almost like the Hardy's are doing a meta commentary on how bad of a product TNA is, by filming the worst possible thing they can imagine with reason and seeing if TNA are foolish enough to air it.

Matt's terrible accent and acting were a thing of beauty. He went head first into it, like Arnold did in Batman and Robin. He knew what he was doing was shit, so he said fuck it and just had fun.

Right? They know it's terrible and they had a good laugh with it.

Right? There was definite awareness by the Hardys of just how absurd the whole thing was.

These are the yard tards who ran their own backyard promotion OMEGA. This wasn't them making a commentary about TNA, this was them getting back to their roots and living the dream their 16 year old selves always had about wrestling.

Frankly, it's refreshing to see them let their inner child out and be what they've always wanted to be

Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins is now the president of TNA Impact Wrestling

A new record :)

Bobby Lashley defeated Drew Galloway for the tna world title
Lashley defeated Eddie Edwards for the x-title
and
Lashley defeating James Storm for the king of the mountain championship

Who I think breaks a new record in tna. And Kurt Angle was the only man
who held one or more tna title at the same time before him I believe

Sorry if i'm not making sense.

After me making stupid threads in the tna forum where i've made most but
there are some that are good for years and I dont even get to watch tna much anymore here in canada because the channel there on that you have to pay for which
sucks. But I fallow it some still!

I just wonder if you guys think I know lots about impact wrestling as much
as someone else?

Yes, you know more than every other person on this forum about TNA.

TNA is in the middle of trying to sell the company. Rumor is Billy Corgan will buy it with a group once he gets the money, but apparently WWE might be interrested. If WWE gets it, then it's good night Irene.
