Considering who he's beat so far, yes

But, of course, you're right. He's getting early wins so that he can look like a threat later in the tournament, but none of his victories will actually stick in our minds. Benjamin is the big beneficiary of Kota Ibushi's concussion, because that's who he was scheduled to face on the last day of the block stage. Benjamin was going to play spoiler to Ibushi, but now Tomoaki Honma is there to spoil Benjamin. So, we can pretty much figure that Ibushi was going to get the wins Benjamin is, while Honma will get what they'd planned to give to Benjamin.

By the time November 2016 rolls around? It would be quite difficult.

The American family. It's a colloquialism.

Day 4 did not disappoint even a little bit. Styles/Naito, Okada/Anderson, Shibata/Tanahashi all over 4 stars for me with Shibata/Tanahashi getting all 5 of dem stars.

Tanahashi/Shibata ranked as the lowest of the top matches, to me. It was good, for sure, but for two guys that legit hate the fuck out of each other, Tanahashi wasn't bringing any emotion to the table. Shibata is always angry, so him being 10% more angry than usual isn't terribly demonstrative. Hash has a big emotional range, and he didn't bring it to bear at all. That kept me from investing in it near as much as I'd hoped.

AJ/Naito was off the charts. I haven't seen a lot of Styles in his career, but this was probably the best match I've ever seen from him.

That was number 2 for me. I thought Shibata/Tanahashi just had more of a big fight feel and I loved that they played off last year's finish.

I'm going to show some love to Goto/Yano. They cut ALL da fats out of that match and gave us JUST a Goto finishing stretch with some Yano shenanigans sprinkled in for a match. Completely ridiculous and well played

Once I realized the match was a Goto finishing stretch, with Yano trying desperately to not die, it was just done. Couldn't have been better
