I just want to make sure I get this, they do it because they are intentionally trying to rip off other gimmicks? That must wear thin after a while.

Bullet Club's gimmick is "we are every 1990s heel stable, all at the same time." The Young Bucks constantly throw crotch chops around, for instance. It's been a year that the stable has been around, and it hasn't been wearing thin in that time. It's important to keep in mind that every piece of the stable isn't used on every show. We get time away from each element, which greatly helps to keep things from burning out.

I'll probably be buying the ROH iPPV I would imagine.

I have been reading stuff from some that they are sick of them and their schtick at this point. Though, it seems they do still get a good reaction, the finish of the match doesn't bother me, but a big part of Japanese wrestling is they aren't afraid to book guys to lose clean. So, I hope that doesn't constantly go by the wayside and they take a more WWE/WCW/TNA approach.

Bullet Club using interference to win is at the very heart of what makes them the invading gaijin that they are. It's a unique element of their presentation. They don't play by Japan's normal rules, and it leaves everyone else having to figure out how to defend against them, and overcome them, without selling out their own honour.

The most effective person at battling Bullet Club is the senior ref.

A thought came to me recently, when I read that AJ beat Okada. I'd love to see Tanahashi beat Styles for the belt down the line, and Okada challenging Tanahashi again with some "Fuck you old-man, I've got your number" swagger.

Too bad Tanahashi still has that pledge to never challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Title in play

Wasn't the stip that he couldn't challenge while Okada held the belt?

Nope, he said if he lost to Okada he would never again challenge for the heavyweight title. That's why he went with such fervor to make the IC title the top title. So that he wouldn't play second fiddle

It was misreported at the time, so it's not your fault

So, if Tanahashi has said he'll never challenge for it again, then he shouldn't partake in G-1 right? Why would he if the winner gets a title shot?

They might make it so they can challenge for the IC title, like they did with the New Japan Cup.

Or, he could use that as his occasion to cast aside his old vow. The G1 Climax trophy is kinda like a single-wish genie's lamp.
