Re: Ideas for the new Politics thread
For a troll you're an awfully repetitive one.

“What a strange girl you are. Flung out of space.....”
Re: Ideas for the new Politics thread
It's not trolling. You are just not use to some one calling out your BS. You want to stamp your feet and call people racist well defend your words. It's easy to throw shit from a fraudulaent moral throne but sometimes the shit misses and you need to explain why there is shit all over the castle. You can't so you deflect with cute little memes and then try to defend your behavior to absolutely no one because no one else has posted here when you thought I was gone to justify your safe space temper tantrum laced with insults because you are not mature enough to have an intelligent conversation unless everyone agrees with you.

... and let's call it there.
For the record, I feel Dynasty absolutely has a point that there wasn't even an attempt to engage with what he'd said, but rather immediate and (to my eyes) unfounded claims that he was spouting racist and bigoted statements, then abhorrent insinuations of paedophilia. You're better than this, gentlemen, or at least you claim to be.
At the same time, Dynasty's immediate leap to casting Evan (and to a much lesser extent Jimmy) as an "extreme leftist" demonstrated a lack of good faith in discussion. Gave the impression of baiting a trap, which may have played a part in things becoming so confrontational, so quickly.
Political debate is wonderful, and members of this forum have proven time and again to be eloquent, reasonable people, capable of expressing intelligent arguments with passion, but also civility. None of that was on display here. Maybe next time.
