"Politico Magazine's team analyzed every statement made by both Trump and Clinton for five days and said "the conclusion is inescapable: Trump's mishandling of facts and propensity for exaggeration so greatly exceed Clinton's as to make the comparison almost ludicrous."
The words "almost ludicrous" ricocheted around Twitter.
Politico found that Trump averaged "one falsehood every three minutes and 15 seconds over nearly five hours of remarks" while Clinton averaged one falsehood every twelve minutes.
Overall, the news outlet counted 87 "misstatements, exaggerations, falsehoods" from Trump and eight from Clinton."

I'm not saying that Hillary is fully honest, but it's truly telling how gross people are that Hillary is the one that people have trust issues with, compared to that guy

If you ever needed to be told why you don't trust the cops, NEVER TALK TO THE COPS EVER. NEVER EVER. ABOUT ANYTHING!:

But even further now, it's not enough to invoke your 5th amendment rights. Literally the only thing you say to an officer is "I will not answer your questions without my attorney present, I would like to speak to my attorney."

Ah, the folks that love to tout their slogan "DON'T THREAD ON ME" but couldn't care less if it's done to anyone else, especially not immigrants and those of other races and ethnicities, they're definitely allowed to be thread on, in fact to their mind that's what government is for to thread on those people.

They don't like Big Government looking at them and go one about rights and liberties, but outright demand that every person who isn't a white, straight, Christian, middle class male be subject to endless scrutiny and oppression. Because ultimately they're cowardly in the face of change.

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/artic ... -9-11-bill

And this...THIS is why it doesn't matter who the President is nearly as much as people think, domestically at least. It's a huge fucking deal for the international arena, but as long as we have fuckhats in Congress, the President can only do so much.

"Before the vote, senior administration officials warned lawmakers of this exact problem -- that weakening the concept of sovereign immunity could backfire if foreign countries tried to do the same for the U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter sent House Armed Services Chairman Mac Thornberry of Texas a letter saying that could potentially expose Americans to lawsuits and “an intrusive discovery process” even if the U.S. is ultimately found not to be responsible for a particular event.
But Republicans said the White House didn’t make a forceful case, putting themselves in the awkward position of blaming the president for a bill they enacted into law over Obama’s veto."

Motherfuck...they're blaming Obama for overriding his veto because he didn't make a forceful case that this might be a bad idea...even though he fucking vetoed their bill. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WOULD BE A FORCEFUL CASE AGAINST YOUR STUPID FUCKING BILL YOU FUCKING....ugh, God

Wow, yeah what a lot of people don't get is that the GOP voter base are angry at Obama because he's trying to help them and GOP politicians are refusing to play ball and have successfully duped them into believing that it's his fault. Also, Trump's trying to "reach out" to black communities while GOP politicians gerrymander them out of their congressional districts and blame Democrats for "not doing anything for them" when their motto is pretty much not doing anything for anyone, cutting taxes for the rich and increasing debts, that's it. How they manage to do all of this utter lying while looking great to their voters is nothing short of astonishing.

Large swaths of the GOP voter base WANT to be lied to. Anything that pushes culpability away is what they (both the voters and the politicians) want, because they get a blank check to be reckless and dangerous

Which is why so many of them deny climate change. Their mindset is that if you can stick your fingers in your ears long enough and deny that it's happening, you can keep on raking in the dough from all that fracking and burning.

It's a total "GOT MINE" mentality the whole time with them and what they don't understand is that someone had to fight to open up opportunities for them to get theirs in the first place.

It's not that they don't understand that, it's that they fear other people understanding that and getting a leg up. They want to keep all the money/power/resources to themselves and keep any real equality from happening.

The sad thing about the current Republican voters is that the people that are voting for them do not have their best interests at heart, but they lie so convincingly that people will vote against their interests anyway. It's an amazing con, really

That and the evangelical voters who will write in any Republican who promises to hate on the gay community and deny women access to abortion, regardless of how they feel on any other issues.

In lighter fare, the 41st Ryder Cup matches teed off today with the American team putting up the first 4-0 morning sweep of the opening session since 1975 on Europe.

It'll be interesting to see if the USA can find a new, more torturous way to lose in the end

(or maybe just maybe get just their 2nd win in the last 9 Cups)
