Re: Star Wars
Colin Trevorrow is out as director of Episode IX! Thank God for that. It was a cause of much worry amongst the fans and industry members alike. We now have reason to hope Episode VIII won't be the last great Star Wars movie. This is incredible.

Re: Star Wars
Unsurprised that they went with this choice. He was considered for IX during post-production on VII but understandably turned it down. JJ still sounded lukewarm about it in 2015 just having completed VII so it's easy to see why he came back around.
I have no doubt it now won't be released until Christmas 2019 even if they're explicitly not saying that yet.

Re: Star Wars
Mark Hamill accidentally posted the release date of the next The Last Jedi teaser trailer to Twitter (which he quickly removed). Apparently it is only going to be an extended version of what we have already seen though. The accidental tweet could be intentional for hype, who knows. Not officially confirmed anywhere.
October 9th is the apparent date.

Re: Star Wars
Sounds too plausible to be a lie, I think he revealed it but got in trouble because he wasn't supposed to.

Re: Star Wars
Watched the new trailer for The Last Jedi. Had an interesting fight scene involving Phasma.
Picked up the Phasma book at Walmart the other day, need to get to that. Age of Conan's going to have to wait.

Well, now that trailer was a tease. Good thing that it was I suppose.

Re: Star Wars
Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2) and The Old Republic (Content driven MMORPG) have proven that a Star Wars story that isn't related to Skywalkers can be told and can be told well. Rogue One proved a good movie can be made that is mostly original content. I'm cautiously optimistic but doubt it'll come anywhere close to the blockbuster of the Skywalker story.

Re: Star Wars
Looking forward to it, even though I'm confident The Last Jedi will explore territory Force Awakens only hinted at I'm not as hyped as I was last time. Real life has been too distracting lately.

Haven't seen confirmation from Star Wars itself, but there are reports of a Bobba Fett film taking place
