Here is the Zelda wiki, with the updated information from the Hyrule Historia thing, if you're interested.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
Hmmm...I get the premise, but it seems like timeline C is just a lazy way to amend plot holes in the previous Two Timelines hypothesis.
It's interesting to see where Skyward Sword now fits into it though, I had been wondering about that.

It's the origin of the Legend of Zelda. Takes place before the Minish Cap, and tells the origins of Hyrule, and the forging of the Master Sword.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
I haven't played it though. Being a Wii title and all.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
I just did a quick search of the wiki. *shrug*
The timeline is fascinating, and pretty damn annoying at the same time, haha. More convoluted than MGS series.

You guys should give zreo some love:
http://zreomusic.com/listen
It's all the best Zelda music, remastered and re-orchestrated by fans themselves. Check it out, it needs some attention.
Anyways, I've got two Zelda games under my belt now. Majora's Mask is definitely next when I get around to it, but I realize I didn't spend too much time on sidequests in OoT.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
There's not really a lot to the sidequests in OoT, not like Majora's Mask. It has a way of pulling you into the sidequests by having people and objects that you'll notice out of the corner of your eye and just think "What the fuck is that?" before going to investigate. I don't want to hype the game much more than that, as I've already been super hyping it.

Worth digging up this thread to post this gem:

Indeed, OoT, what's up with that?

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
Anyone looking forward to Hyrule Heroes? Looks like a very different LoZ game than we're accustomed to. I'll likely be giving it a try if/when I get a WiiU.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
Hyrule Warriors is on my radar. It's basically Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda skin on top of it, which I dig. Might pick it up after/during the holiday season.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
I'll be keeping an ear to the ground on it as well.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Thread
With Breath of the Wild just a few days away, I figured what better time to dig this thread up. Personally, I plan on picking it up on WiiU, not putting down serious money on a Switch just yet. Maybe within a year or so, but not first day. Breath of the Wild, though, gotta get my hands on that.
Seriously. I haven't been this excited for a Zelda game since Twilight Princess.

"My favourite spot is the one where I would pick him up for an aeroplane spin and rotate as many times as possible. He’d be so dizzy that he would try to pin the referee, and I’d count to three and he’d think that he won - Daniel Bryan
