Have to wonder if they'll be a Central or Pacific division team. Geographically it makes sense to put them in the Pacific. They're closest to Arizona and the Cali teams, but they might get thrown into the Central grouping, especially if Seattle can get their shit together and get a building and money on paper for a new team, which would definitely be in the Pacific division. The city management just needs to get over bringing the Sonics back and focus on what has more potential right now.

Also, here's an interesting list:

San Jose Sharks' logo is getting a makeover.

The new logos will not be appearing on any of the current jerseys, but will appear on new merchandise to be released soon.

I had heard about that. I'm shocked to be quite honest. I wonder where he'll go from here? Perhaps another NHL team will pick him up or he'll go to the European leagues or back to coaching QMJHL level.

It's just one name being considered. I'm hoping they'll go with something that makes more sense.

Well, he's turning 40 in November, so maybe that's a factor.

Jamie Benn is out of the World Cup. He hasn't recovered from the muscle core surgery he had last month. Logan Couture has been named as his replacement.
