Could be worse...both teams could be Philthy. I don't think they've won a Cup in about 40 years.

On another note, if I hear anyone blaming goalies today, the knives are coming out. Fleury did one hell of a great job last night, yet the other idiots still blew a 3-0 lead. Even Greiss looked in fine form on Sunday against Philthy, but I don't have to tell anyone how that game turned out either.

This team may end up giving me an ulcer, but damn it, I love them anyway.

My face after last night's Pens loss (the closest thing I could find that resembled banging my head on the desk...LOL)

The Ovechkins beat Boston last night, so the Pens hold on to their top Wildcard spot for another night.

Tonight you should be rooting for the Panthers.

And probably the Rangers.

No Isles game tonight either. But Edmonton got San Jose.

Poor Croz, the Pens do remotely shitty for practically the first time since he joined the team and some fans are ready to throw him under the bus. Good thing they're not Oilers fans. Holy shit, they'd have burnt the whole team at the stake by now.

Meanwhile, the Sens beat the Rangers and the Bruins lost, so right now, with one game each left to play, Ottawa holds seventh place with 97 points and Boston holds ninth with 95 in the conference. Wedged right in the middle and clutching the second Wildcard spot, with two games left to play and 96 points is Pittsburgh. No clinched spots, everything on the line in these last games they have to play.

Without having to do a thing, (they didn't play tonight) the Isles clinched a spot in the playoffs. They can still fall to a Wildcard spot, but no further. They're in.

Also, Winnipeg are in OT with Colorado, if they win, they clinch their spot. OT just won't do.

Lastly, somehow Edmonton are up a goal on San Jose. Let's see what happens to that lead by the time I get up in the morning.

The West has been won. Calgary beat LA and therefore Winnipeg's OT win is enough. The last two spots have been clinched. 3/4 West coast Canadian teams are in.

Isles and Pens. Isles need this win for home ice advantage with Washington, Pens need it to clinch. It's going to be a fight, plain and simple.

Yep, I have a feeling things may figuratively get a little bloody tonight.

YES! Isles just need to beat Columbus tomorrow night and if the Caps can fall to the Rangers, the Isles will have the home ice advantage to start the playoffs.

And you have to admit, tomorrow night is going to be a nail-biter as Boston, Pittsburgh and Ottawa are all going to be fighting over three playoff spots. It's the musical chairs of hockey.

On the plus side for your Pens, they're ending the season against Buffalo, who want to tank for the draft.

Top top it all off, the Sens got Philthy. LC might be end the night rooting for Philly to win. Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

It has begun. Watching the Sens/Flyers game, Sens are up a goal with the first nearly in the books.

The Rangers are doing their job with Washington, 2-0 in that one near the end of the first as well.

The Flyers have tied it up at nearly the mid-point of the 2nd.

Rangers are maintaining their two goal lead over the Caps, 3-1 in that game.

Philthy is losing...excellent!

Tonight is do or die for the Pens. Sabres could either purposely tank for a first draft pick OR find a way to send the Pens home for go. This will be our cliffhanger until puck time.

You should be rooting for Philthy. If they win, then that creates one more opportunity for the Pens to stay alive in this game of musical chairs between them, the Sens and the Bruins. In the Sens win this game, they clinch and the only team that Boston can bounce out of the playoffs are the Pens.

With those words barely posted, the Sens clinch their playoff spot. One spot left and it all comes down to the Bruins and Pens fighting for it. The good news for the Pens is that if the Bruins, who drop the puck the same time as they do, happen to lose to the Bolts, then they'll still clinch. If the Pens win, they'll also take top wildcard spot and start the playoffs against the Habs.

So, Pens and Sabres, Bolts and Bruins, head to head, both of LC's teams in action and both of which she's gonna be cheering hard for.
