The Official NHL Hockey - Discussion Thread

Post by isrs4life » Tue Aug 27, 2013 3:46 pm

I use to like NHL but never seemed to find the time for it
when seasons are going I use to like collecting hockey cards
when I was a kid
and I also was a big fan of the detroit red wings I accually have 2 picture plaqs of there 97 and 98 stanley cup wins.

I am still amazed that the Chicago Blackhawks have won the
stanley cup twice in recent years but still know the history
of the stanley cup very well but not the game its self.

But if you wanna discuss the national hockey league

please

post!

This is my first sports thread ever in the sports section thought one about hockey
deserved to be on here because I didnt see very much of one and
nucks is the last to have a topic about the great game of
canada.

I think people are posting about hockey in the older NHL thread.

A cousin of mine was, and maybe still is an on screen personality for the Bulldogs. I don't keep tabs on her, so I can't say for sure if she's still got that gig, but she was doing good with it when she had it.

It's nice to hear that she was doing good. Was she doing well, too?

The Pens have signed forward Oskar Sundqvist to a three-year entry-level contract. Kid is only 20 years old! http://penguins.nhl.com/club/news.htm?i ... b-penguins

Hopefully the Pens will decide on someone far more worthy. Apparently a decision will be reached by the end of this week.

If it means not listening to him talking on NHL on NBC telecasts, letting the Penguins take that fall is a sacrifice I'm willing to take

You echo the sentiments of many others.
