Took a nice little joyride around town, since gas is cheap and I need to get out and see what's going on in the 'hood. On the way home, I stopped at the hardware store to get a metal cutting blade for my reciprocating saw, that I need for recycling some junk steel I plan to repurpose/get rid of. To my surprise, the pruning blade I looked all over town for, a few month's back, that nobody had, was sitting there on the shelf. Damn, you never find stuff when you actually need it. I wasn't sure they even made them. Got one now!

Ripped the crotch out of my favorite pair of jeans pulling up a honeysuckle root. Darn it.
Did find a toy spaceship buried there tho.
In the ground, not in my jeans.

Played Torchlight II

Just for fun, I cleaned up the little diecast toy I found and did some research, turns out my buried treasure is a Buck Rogers Venus Duo Destroyer Mk 24L and was made in 1937. Probably been buried there for 50+ years. The fun of urban archaeology!

That's pretty neat. Probably worth a pretty penny too.
