Don't drink pop or soda. There's your answer.

I drink that more than anything, honestly.
Well, unless you're adding a sandwich sized ziplock baggie full of sugar to your tea, I'd have to say no. Black teas (Orange pekoe, Earl Grey, etc.) are stronger than green or white, but still contain little caffeine compared to Colas. Tea has less caffeine than coffee as well, I should mention, but not by much.

There's so much sugar in just one can of pop that for a child that would have to be enough to get a sugar high, not to mention the caffeine in Colas. I mean, you give a kid a glass or a can of soda and tell them to sit down and do their homework, it's not going to happen; and their little minds can't process that they're as high on sugar as Willie Nelson is on pot, all they know is that they wanna go fuckin' nuts.
Sorry, I just couldn't let this go. The 'Sugar Causes ADHD' myth has been thoroughly debunked by this point, and banning soda would have the same effect on kids' ADHD as it would on their hair color (read: ADHD is largely heritable). Not that I don't agree that we should get rid of sodas in schools, but there's no real reason to believe that this would lead to any decline in the number of kids diagnosed with ADHD.

As for soda, I rarely drink it just because I don't like how my teeth feel sticky afterwards. But, since moving to Texas, I have to say that I've become a fan of Big Red. I'm not sure what other states have it, but if you're a fan of cheap red cream soda, give it a try.

Huge difference between ADHD and a plain old sugar rush. Perhaps that's where the confusion lies. GH is right, there's no link. As for soda making kids flip their shit, that obviously happens.

Oh yeah, of course, also in New York, there was a great soda machine in a Hipster McDonald's in Manhattan.

A Hipster McDonalds...So no one knows about it? By mentioning it here, does it lose its Hipster status as now we know about this Dr. Pepper dispensing McDonalds in Manhattan?

Well, following the Hipster lifestyle is a hypocrisy in and of itself. Plus, you look like you got dressed in your grandfathers closet with the lights out. They're also elitist pricks.

I'll agree to your proposed correction.

Also, anyone else remember 7Up Tropical Splash? That was only available in Canada for a while, might still be in the states for all I know. I thought I recalled seeing it there long after it was pulled from Canadian shelves.
