Re: The Ask El Canuck a Question Game
Has your experiences as either a worker or as a fan of wrestling had any influence on your story or it's characters?

Not familiar with him at all, sorry.eobversion1 wrote:Are you familiar with the writings of Joseph Campbell, if so how much do you think he's contributed to our understanding of mythology and the fantasy genre?
Invariably so. For one, it has heavily influenced the way I choreograph fight scenes. For another, navigating backstage politics is not unlike navigating any other social labyrinth and certainly helps in weaving that aspect of the story. Then there's the colourful characters I have met over the years, and I ain't talking about gimmicks. Finally, on a more personal note, an encounter in training with a female worker really shaped how I created the women of Gold & Steel.AndyF1069 wrote:Has your experiences as either a worker or as a fan of wrestling had any influence on your story or it's characters?

How are you keeping? You seem quiet lately.

Re: The Ask El Canuck a Question Game
I appreciate the concern, dude. I'm actually doing well, just working long hours and while I can find little breaks in between to post numbers here and there, I don't have time to actually engage in much discussion and the few hours between work and sleep that I have I'm pretty beat out. My body is just not adjusting to this schedule as fast as I would like it to.

I can definitely appreciate that. Everyone reacts to situations differently.

When I read your excerpt chapters and complained about the sexual tension between Tryst and Marigold and how much they needed to fuck, how much did you giggle/laugh/cackle at me knowing what you had written?

I remember that plainly, I found it quite funny. I was giggling like Homer trying to say titmouse.

When are you getting a PS4 and diving into The Last of Us and Uncharted?

I don't even have time to play my X-Box One and Witcher 3 or Arkham Knight. Let alone buying another console.

Besides, we don't need Nucks falling in love with another potty mouthed redheaded girl that wants to get her hands on a bow and arrow. He cannot handle Ellie. He'd literally die if he played The Last of Us

I didn't think she was a redhead either, but her hair colour is alluded to in places. She's definitely a reddy.

I should be more sorry about possibly bringing Nucks to ruin, but I'm not

And if there's any game that's going to get me to plunk down cash for a PS4 it's going to be the game whose lead character is literally based on Ygritte.

Re: The Ask El Canuck a Question Game
Cannonically, Ellie is a redhead. I'll allow that they whiffed a little bit on making her a darker redhead and they colored it as more of a brown, but her official stats are red hair and green eyes. She is what she is.
Deal with it?

Re: The Ask El Canuck a Question Game
What? Her appearance was based on Ellen Page, who is definitely not a redhead, and later altered slightly when she took notice. She's a brunette, in nearly every bit of artwork I've ever seen. Also, playing her in the screen adaptation is Maisie Williams. Also definitely not a redhead and not likely going to be wearing a red wig. I'm confused and sleepy.

The answer we were looking for was #Bluetista, but that works too
