I might not even bother, who knows.

Has your day gotten better?

I dunno, but I'm trying to numb out. Over the course of the last 24 hours I had my godmother inadvertently guilt me about not coming down to NY to see the super bowl with my godfather because he's kind of in a rough patch and she thought it'd be a nice thing for both of us.

I asked my aunt who lives with me if she'd watch my grandmother (her mother) for just Sunday, so I could try to make that little trip happen, and she gave me a hard no, with no room for compromise.

My best friend in Boston sent me a long text apologizing for not talking for most of January, because she's got a lot of shit going on, and saying that while she can't really hang out now she's still thinking about me and stuff. In my current fragile state, it read way more like a friend-breakup than just checking in with me.

So I'm just in the process of trying to be numb, but okay, right now

Wow, that sounds harsh, it's hard to face situations when you're left with too many questions and insufficient resources/information to clarify them without further information.

Which is why, now that I have a little distance from the initial shock and upset, I did ask for her to clarify. It can't possibly make things worse to ask but I did it in a less anxiety provoking way than I feel, which is good

That is fair, often when I'm stressed out it's exactly because of situations like that. I'm forced to think about something and become anxious because I'm involved in it or obligated by it yet feel helpless therefore get caught in a cycle of worry.

The ladyfriend texted me back and told me I was a dumb-dumb and that she wasn't friend-breaking up with me. So yay, I'm just emotionally crippled, not emotionally crippled AND friendless

On a certain subconscious level, sure. But that's not a fear I think about on the regular

I see.

Are you a big listener of classical music? If so what are some pieces you like?

I haven't been a regular classical listener recently, but I do listen to quite a bit of contemporary instrumental artists, which is in a similar vein.

My current favorite is Balmorhea. They're amazing
