Literally shouted out in shock when I saw this. Very sad to heard it. Even as somebody born in the 90's I've found it impossible to know the impact and legacy that this man created and leaves behind. His Hall of Fame speech is one of my favourites and I listen to it at least a couple of times a year.

Jim Ross has reported that Bobby Heenan has passed away
"My favourite spot is the one where I would pick him up for an aeroplane spin and rotate as many times as possible. He’d be so dizzy that he would try to pin the referee, and I’d count to three and he’d think that he won - Daniel Bryan

Re: Jim Ross has reported that Bobby Heenan has passed away
I don't post much anymore, but I figured after hearing the news, that this was the right place to post this:
I molded most of my life after the character of Bobby The Brain. His wrestling philosophy of "Wrestle like a Manager and Manage like a Wrestler" is what got me booked for ten years around the wrestling circuit in Puerto Rico. I took that philosophy and molded it into my professional career in marketing - work like manager and manage like a worker.
I never got the chance to meet the Brain, and that's a big regret. He demonstrated during his battle with cancer his true toughness, and he is someone everyone can learn even a bit from. Rest in Peace Mr. Heenan. You were, are, and always will be, the best.

Like Andy, even as a 90s born fan, it is hard not to escape the greatness that was Bobby Heenan. The dude was fantastic as a manager, hilarious as a commentator, and an all around top notch performer. RIP to the Weasel.
