Both teams great on mic, both got awesome in ring presence and ability, could be a great feud, and it would give gable and Jordan the chance to fully showcase their talent

I think Gable and Jordan are going to be in NXT for a lot of this year, which is a mistake. Those boys are roster ready today.

It would be cool though if they put together some vignettes for some of these debuting NXT guys instead of having them show up out of nowhere. Gable and Jordan's evolution from hesitant partners to great tag team could be great for some vignettes to hype them up.

Do you think any of the NXT tag teams are to a certain extent scared of being called up due to the fact that it ruined the ascension to the point where they are jobbers

I would say that goes for any NXT wrestler, whether singles or tag team. There's always a worry that you could be lost in the shuffle, like Bo Dallas or Ascension.

Ascension would've never worked on the main roster in the first place. Their entire gimmick was the fact that they were bloodthirsty monsters that squashed people in a matter of seconds and looked like savage animals doing it.

In WWE 50/50 booking, squashers aren't allowed. At least, not for very long.

Look at Tyler Breeze, I think it's likely that they called him up solely for a Breaking Ground episode and story. They've had nothing of consequence for him on the main roster and now he's lost Summer Rae. That dude is dead as door nails. At least he'll be fun once he's back in NXT again, he doesn't have a prayer.

Tyler announced on an episode of Smackdown that him and Summer have split up. Believe it was last week.

Adam Rose only appeared two or three times before they started playing Exotic Express promos on RAW. But for the short time the character was in NXT, he was super over.

I liked his Leo Kruger gimmick in NXT
That would fit well in main roster

He was Leo Krueger for quite some time before they switched him to Adam Rose, too. To answer Creepster's question. The Rose gimmick came very late in his NXT run.

Well they made the mistake of trying to make The Ascension the Road Warriors 2.0, and did nothing to cut down on the references to them and Demolition.

No, they made the mistake of making them jokes within weeks of debuting. JBL ripping them to shreds each week for beating up jobbers, then they get a bunch of 50+ year old men to beat them up.

If they were booked the way they were in NXT - no nonsense ass kickers - or if they were booked the way they were in the elimination tag team chamber, they would be absolutely fine. There were never any Road Warrior comparisons until they were given (clearly scripted) lines about the Warriors and the other tag teams of the late 80s and early 90s.
"My favourite spot is the one where I would pick him up for an aeroplane spin and rotate as many times as possible. He’d be so dizzy that he would try to pin the referee, and I’d count to three and he’d think that he won - Daniel Bryan

Except for, you know, the comparisons immediately made when they started doing promos in red and black facepaint and shoulderpads.

Another example of not wanting them to succeed on main roster so they make them reinvent them selves as a copy of lod/demolition

Chris Smith of Forbes.com is featuring an article looking at the highest-paid wrestlers in WWE for 2015. These figures were obtained from court documents, SEC filings and WWE booking contrats. You can check out a list below courtesy of Forbes.

* John Cena: $9.5 million

* Brock Lesnar: $6 million

* Triple H: $2.8 million

* Seth Rollins: $2.4 million

* Roman Reigns: $2.1 million

* Dean Ambrose: $1.1 million

Forbes: WWE’s Highest-Paid Wrestlers

That is crap for Ambrose he has busted his ass more than the rest and gets screwed in the wage bill. But I guess it's gonna be bigger this year.

I disagree on the whole, he busted his ass more than Cena, who more than earned his money last year, but I do agree that all three former Shield members will get paid more this year.
